Limoges CSP is now looking to the international market to bolster its roster, after securing a solid foundation with the extensions of its core players and the signing of a first recruit. According to information from our colleague Matthieu Marot of Le Populaire du Centre, the Haute-Vienne club is paying close attention to the profile of Kaza Kajami-Keane, a 32-year-old point guard who played for Mans Sarthe Basket for three seasons, from 2020 to 2023. During his time in Sarthe, Kajami-Keane averaged 10.5 points, 1.8 rebounds, and 4.4 assists per game, for an evaluation of 10.6. He was also one of the key players in Chemnitz's FIBA Europe Cup title in 2024, earning MVP honors in the final with 29 points in the return match against Bahçeşehir. Last season, playing for Braunschweig, he posted impressive individual statistics with 14.1 points and 5.6 assists per game. The recruitment of Kajami-Keane would bring valuable experience at the European level and a perfect knowledge of the championship. Limoges CSP can already count on its historic captain Nicolas Lang, who is tied to the club until 2027, as well as Hugo Invernizzi, who has renegotiated his contract to stay in Haute-Vienne. Mamadou Guisse is also in the plans of the coach, unlike Shawn Tanner, with whom the club will have to find an agreement to end their collaboration. Inside, the extension of All-Star pivot Gavin Ware and the arrival of Jean-Fabrice Dossou have already given a strong look to the paint. With the Slovenian Leon Stergar also under contract, the recruitment of Kajami-Keane would allow the team to add a leader who can make a significant impact on the game.
